High Quality Straight Razor with Wood Handle- Shave Ready

I bought this razor to have an inexpensive one for traveling. This was a solid performer. I was definitely pleased. It arrived much sooner than I thought and was indeed ready to go w quick strop. And I had forgotten soap of any kind so had to shave w just water. After going two days. It still did very well, no discomfort.

I have two more of these in my cart already! I have a professionally honed Dovo Best Quality razor I��ve been using for several years. I bought one of these to have stopped and handy razor for a quick shave and to practice honing razors. Mine required no honing! I hit the linen 25 laps and 50 on the leather and test shaved. Not terrible but not awesome. Went 25 laps on the diamond paste linen, bare linen, and then leather. Shaved fine! No real noticeable difference between this and my Dovo razor. The spine is a little crooked but it closes fine and shaved well. Great value!

My favorite straight razor which can take single or double edge razor blades !! Works very nicely for a clean shave. There were five DE blades which came with the razor. The natural wood scale was a very nice touch. Thoroughly recommend this razor for those looking for a close and comfortable shave.

I have been using this straight razor for approximately a month and a half now and I have to say, it gets one of the cleanest shaves of all the razors I have used in the past. It really gets down to the roots leaving a clean, smooth shave. I personally have trouble finding razors that work for me because my hair are really thick and rough but the blade remains sharp even after dozens of shaves (unlike the cheaper stick razors). Personally, I haven��t encountered any difficulty when using this product. This product is not recommended for inexperienced shavers, for the blade is very sharp and can easily cut flesh if used improperly; but for those whom are experienced and understand the mechanics of shaving, this is a great product to get the clean shave that we can all agree is essential in maintaining various assortments in in styles of facial hair.

The blade and the wood handle are without defect, so they align properly when folding it down helping to protect your blade from unnecessary nicks. There was a slight issue that was more my fault than theirs. I sent them a message about it and that's when I got to see how wonderful their customer service is. I received a phone from China w/in 30 minutes of sending my message. They talked me through the steps and to make sure I was completely satisfied they shipped me another blade. Now I have two great products! What a great value for these blades. The one negative, if you could call it that, is that the wood appears that it will need to be conditioned from time to time to make sure this Straight Razor can last for a couple generations or more.

This straight razor I would consider top of the line for low cost straight Razors. It came nicely packaged with a case and extremely sharp, I cleaned my forearms of hair like it was nothing. I have purchased many of the cheaper straight razors to see if I could find a great low cost razor that really a great value for the $$. I gave this a solid 5 star rating as I was comparing them to less expensive razors and not Dovos or Thiers Issards, etc. And for this category both regular and upgraded blades out performed against their completion. No regrets if you want a solid inexpensive straight razor, you have found the right one.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it. The razor is lightweight and easy to handle when he shaves. The look of it is also a great plus too! The razor itself is a work of art that helps shapes and sculpts my boyfriend's facial hair. At first he didn't like it, but I think he eventually got the hang of how to correctly shave with it and he loves using it now! SO much better than the regular razors for him. This seems like it'll last him a long time.

Amazing quality! Saw the good reviews and wondered if they were right. This thing was a visual stunner right out of the box, and was ready to shave. As far as first impressions, it shaves smoother than a Dovo carbon steel. This is stainless steel and a thicker (not full concave) design than the normal 'full hollow.' So, it doesn't have that almost ringing sound of fine carbon steel on beard, or the paper-thin feel, but its as sharp, or sharper than carbon steel, and shaves perfectly, gliding effortlessly over the skin. Can't really say enough...beautiful to look at, easy to shave with. It would be easy to spend 4 times this price and not get as good of a blade. "They" say that stainless steel doesn't get or hold an edge as well as carbon, but not so sure after using this blade. Its a Chinese blade, but this level of quality is higher than most Japanese brands or even German.

I purchased one regular and one with the upgraded blade, I could not tell a big difference between the two blades, a conversation with the seller explained that the formulary of the upgraded blade would extend the time it holds its edge, if you do not know how to hone your blades then that extended life may have more value than it does for me as I love redoing the hone myself. I'm a fervent fan of the old-fashioned razor since my father taught me to shave since a teenager. Compared to the modern electric razor, it gives you more sharp and clean hair-cut result without giving you razor bumps if used properly. The wooden body part is made of fine wood which you can definitely feel it and the steel blade is sharp enough to cut the most detailed and ingrown part of the hair. It has a hollow area in between the wood so it gives much more hygienic feeling keeping it stored.
